Chester's oldest licensed premises, dating back to 1155 with a licence from 1533. A coaching inn with its own in-house microbrewery — the only one within Chester's city walls. Award-winning beers including Matador (Champion Beer of Cheshire 2012). Also offers hotel accommodation.
