Every Bottomless Brunch in Chester (That We Can Confirm)

We checked all 240 venues we list to find every bottomless brunch in Chester. Here's who runs one, what we know about each, and what to check before you book.

Out In Chester·

Bottomless brunch has gone from a novelty to a fixture of the Chester weekend. We've just finished going through every venue we list — 240 of them — checking which ones actually run one, and the answer is more than we had on record.

Here's who we can confirm, what we know about each, and how to work out which suits you.

The venues

We only list a venue here if it says so itself — in its own words on its own website, or in a deal we've recorded directly. We don't guess based on what a place looks like or what it probably does. Where we know specifics, they're below; where we don't, that's because the venue hasn't published them, not because we couldn't be bothered to look.

Brasserie ABode — runs a bottomless brunch on a 10am–12pm slot.

Cosy Club — "brunch, but make it bottomless": an upgrade on the normal brunch menu, 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks.

Duttons — bottomless brunch is a standing part of what they do, alongside the bar and restaurant.

Kuckoo — one we've had on record longest. Worth checking days before travelling, as Kuckoo doesn't open every day.

Music Hall Tap — bottomless brunch sits alongside their lunch and main menus, bookable directly.

Off The Wall — unusually, runs bottomless brunch every day, not just weekends. If your plans don't fit a Saturday, start here.

Olive Tree Brasserie — Greek and Mediterranean, with bottomless brunch alongside their Sunday roasts.

Palm Cocktail Bar & Eatery — Saturdays, 11am sitting, £29.95 per person. The most specific pricing any venue publishes up front.

Providence Gin — lists bottomless brunch among its experiences, alongside gin masterclasses and tastings.

Six One Six — bottomless brunches run as part of a wider programme of DJs, live music and seasonal menus.

Slug & Lettuce — a bottomless brunch you can book directly from their homepage.

Spinners Chester — bottomless brunch alongside the social games and date nights they're better known for.

The Red Lion — unlimited drinks for 90 minutes plus one dish of your choice.

Turtle Bay — Caribbean, and they lead with bottomless brunch and cocktails.

How to choose

If your weekend is already full, Off The Wall is the one running it every day.

If you want to know the price before you commit, Palm publishes theirs (£29.95, Saturday 11am). Most venues don't put a figure on their homepage, which is worth knowing before you plan a budget for a group.

If you're feeding people properly, The Red Lion's format — 90 minutes plus a dish of your choice — and Olive Tree Brasserie's Mediterranean menu are doing something different from a bar that treats the food as a formality.

If it's a bigger occasion, Six One Six and Spinners build the brunch into something with more going on around it.

What to check before you book

These are the details that vary between venues and catch people out:

  • When the clock starts. Most slots are timed from your booking, not from when you sit down. Arriving late usually costs you part of the session.
  • Whether the whole table has to take the package. Some venues require it, which changes the maths if one of you isn't drinking.
  • Whether service is added automatically, particularly for larger groups.
  • What "unlimited" covers. Prosecco is the standard pour; cocktails and spritzes are often an upgrade rather than included.
  • Whether there's an alcohol-free option. More venues offer one than used to, but it's rarely advertised — ask.

A note on this list

We rebuilt it by checking every venue we list rather than by writing down the ones we already knew about, which is why some names here are places you might not associate with bottomless brunch at all.

It won't be complete. Twenty-three venues have websites we couldn't read automatically — including a few where a bottomless brunch would be no surprise at all — and some venues only announce theirs on Instagram. Packages also get added and withdrawn seasonally, so a venue absent today might run one by spring.

If you run a bottomless brunch we haven't listed, tell us and we'll add it. If you spot one that's changed or stopped, that's just as useful.

The full list, with each venue's address, opening hours and any deals we hold, is on our bottomless brunch guide.
